Nepal Sports Journalists Forum President Niranjan Rajbanshi and General Secretary Hemanta Kafle is participating in the 13th Asian Sports Press Union (ASPU) Congress in Seoul, South Korea.
NSJF is an observer in the Congress as International Sports Press Association (AIPS) provisionally accepted NSJF request for membership in its executive committee meeting. NSJF will become a full member after the AIPS Congress sanctions the decision.
In the conference, Rajbanshi and Kafle met with AIPS president Gianni Merlo and re-elected ASPU president Park Kap Chul and invited them to visit Nepal. Both were happy that Nepal is participating in the congress. Merlo even praised NSJF activeness in organizing events.
The Congress elected a new executive committee under Chul – with all top officials being elected unopposed.
