Nepal Sports Journalists Forum

What?

Nepal Sports Journalists’ Forum is an association representing all professional sports journalists of the mainstream media - be it print or boardcast. It currently boost 52 members. It is an associate member of Federation of Nepalese Journalists (FNJ).

Why?

To promote ethical and balanced coverage of sports events, to unite all sports journalists for a common voice and for the betterment of the reporting environment and not to forget to give back something to the sector that have given all of us the job.

How?

Being a member of NSJF means you are entitled certain provileges in while reporting sports events, and bound to a certain set of rules during reporting and writing. NSJF interacts with various sports bodies regularly for the betterment of both.

When?

Established in 1990 AD, NSJF is today the only representative organisation of the professional sports journalists of Nepal.

Where?

NSJF has its office at Tripureswor, near the Dasrath Stadium, beside here at cyberspace. Also receives mails at POBox 10211, Kathmandu and emails at nsjf@nsjf.org.np
