Nominations Committee comprising of Mahesh Acharya (Co-ordinator/The Himalayan Times), Himesh Bajarcharya (Kantipur), Prajeet Shakya (Gorkhapatra), Binod Pandey (Nagarik) and Ujjwal Acharya (Republica) submitted the nominations to NSJF Executive Committee which endorsed the committee’s decision.

- Overall performance through the year of 2065
- Contribution to the success of the team (for players of team game)
- Comparative magnitude of the performance
- Consistency of the performance and/or comparative ratio of success
