Star of the Nepali football team, Basant Thapa, received greeting from NSJF president Niranjan Rajbanshi in the game he completed in 50 goals in the national league. He was the first player to achieve the feat and NSJF did the best to remind him and the Nepali football fans of his feat. Also seen are Manang Marsyandi Club’s Tashi Chhiring and NSJF general secretary Hemanta Kafle.

Ramesh Budhathoki, the national and Mahendra Police Club striker, also completed 50 league goals and was congratulated by NSJF. The event was live broadcasted by Nepal Television.
